Boots Haul

Hello Beauties

I had wanted to try some of the new products to hit the drugstore recently and came across a few others that I thought looked interesting. Here are my thoughts on them so far.

The first item (and only thing I actually went to Boots for!) were the 101 lashes from Eylure. I had a pair of these that got ruined when I took them away with me over Christmas. I have pretty long lashes, naturally, so have never felt the need to wear falsies before, but these just enhance all eye looks incredibly and add just the right amount of volume.

Along with falsies, I also picked up 2 new mascaras that have come out in drugstores. The first is L'Oreal False Lash Sculpt which has been quite popular for the bristles only being on one side of the wand, rather than all around it like conventional mascaras. The second is Maybelline Push Up Drama. I've seen these advertised for so long, and tried them on each eye today, for the first time. On first impressions, these both seem extremely volumising and quite lengthening too. Let's see how they hold up with time.

I then picked up the new L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist. I have been so excited for this to hit the stands and was extremely happy to have picked up the last one at my local Boots. I love using a setting spray on nights out and if I know that I have plans after work and need my make up to last that little bit longer. I am yet to trial this, but will be doing a comparison against the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray which is the one I love at the moment.

I picked up a new black pencil liner from the Sleek Eau La La Liner range. I've tried a few of these lip pencils and love how creamy and smooth they are, so I thought I'd give the black one a try for my waterline. They claim to be water and smudgeproof and as the girl whose eyes water multiple times a day, I'm interested to see if they can meet these claims.

From Bourjois, I picked up the City Radiance Foundation and a Little Round Pot Blush in the shade Lilas D'Or. I've never tried any of their blushes before and loved the look of this colour. It's a peachy shimmery shade that doesn't look like much when swatched, but on the cheeks it adds a nice, subtle pop of colour and radiance, giving a hybrid of blush and highlighter. I'm not normally able to find a colour match with the Bourjois foundations, however, I found that the darkest shade in this range is a great match for me. I am yet to wear this for longer than a trial on my face, but once I do, I will let you know my thoughts.

Last but not least, I picked up a Rimmel The Only 1 lipstick in Naughty Nude, which I have been wanting to try for quite some time but this particular shade always seems to be out of stock. On my skintone, it's not quite a nude, but it's a lovely peach-pink colour that I think will be a popular pick of mine in Spring.

Have you tried any of these products or seen them and have wanted to give them a try? I would love to know!

Thanks for reading
