Nail HQ Treatments

Hello Beauties

Today's post is a review of some nail treatments that I have recently been putting to the test.
I tend to change my nail colour every week and always use a base coat underneath the polish, but I have never thought to use one that would also help the condition of nail aswell. That's where these 3 nail treatments come in.

First up is the Nail HQ Strengthener nail treatment* (£6.99). This is meant to diminish breaking of the nails, making them stronger and therefore promotes nail growth. I had shellacs done a few months ago and when I went back to remove them, the process that the salon used was too harsh on my nails causing them to be very weak and thin. They break as soon as soon as they start growing and I found I had to keep cutting them. I was sceptical about this product but thought I'd give it a go anyway and I have been very pleasantly surprised. I have used this for a week and found that my nails grew strong enough to not break at the first sign of growth and have been that way for at least 3 weeks now, which has been such a nice change.
The second is the Nail HQ Growth nail treatment* (£6.99). This polish worked in a similar way to the Strengthener polish, but I found that it didn't make my nails as strong as the Strengthener and, though they were growing a little more, they were also breaking just as quickly. However, if you have stronger nails that just have trouble growing, then this is definitely the polish for you.
I also tried combining the 2 polishes together, placing one on top of the other, whilst still wet. It's only been a week of this, but I feel like I am noticing some improvement in the condition of my nails and the growth factor, so I am definitely going to continue using this method for a few weeks. I will give you an update on that soon!
An important part of ensuring that your nails grow and grow healthy, is to make sure that your cuticles are in good condition. For that, I have been using the Nail HQ Cuticle Oil*(£5.99). This is a really nice cuticle oil that sinks into the skin really fast and leaves the cuticle oil nice and soft. I tend to have quite dry cuticles, so I have been using this every night and every morning and have noticed a big difference in the dryness levels, so I would definitely recommend this product.

Are they natural products hun? I use simple coconut oil me! But it'd be nice to try the one that makes them grow faster as I've just had to cut all mine off!

  2. Hey hun, no I don't think these are, but they do have some great ingredients in them!
