May Birchbox

Hello Beauties

I feel like it really wasn't that long ago that I posted about my April Birchbox; the month has gone far too quickly. I am here again with the May Birchbox to show you all.

This is my favourite Birchbox that I have received so far, so I'm excited to show you what I got!

The theme for this month's box is Free Your Mind, which I think is really lovely. We all have times where we get overworked and stressed and feel like everything is happening at once, or going wrong. sometimes it's nice to take some time to ourselves and recouperate our feelings and clear our heads. Birchbox have come up with a unique box packaging this month, which features a blank stencil design that the user can decorate however they want with the colouring pencils included in the box. If you upload a picture of your, uniquely, designed box you could also be in with a chance of winning £700.

The products inside this month's box are definitely my favourite ones that I've received so far, bar one.

In this box, we have:

Number 4 Lumiere d'Hiver Reconstructing Mask (not pictured) - This is a hair mark that is meant to strengthen and reconstruct your hair, using shea butter, jojoba seed oil and sunflower seed oil.

WAH London Nail Art Pen - At the end of last month, I received an email asking to choose which WAH London product I would like to receive in my box and this is the one I chose. I already have a lot of nail polishes and don't really tend to wear the stick on ones too much, so this was perfect. It's a lovely bright purple which I am going to try and use this summer.

Parlor by Jeff Chastain Moisturising Sea Salt Spray - I am very excited to try this as I have recently bought a sea salt spray that was extremely drying. I'll be on holiday when this gets published and I will have taken this with me, so updates will be coming soon!

Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge (No 3 New York) - I am yet to use this, but I swatched it on my hand the other day and it is a lovely, vibrant red that will be perfect for summer (and is coming away with me too)

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiant Tinted Moisturiser - This is the only product that I am never going to use and was quite disappointed when I received it; not because of the product, but because of the shade. I got this in the shade Light, which is very obviously too light for me. If you have tried this, you can let me know what it's like.

RMK Point Makeup Remover - This is a duo liquid makeup remover that you shake before use, so that the separated liquids mix together. I have not tried it yet, but it claims to remove all makeup whilst moisturising the skin. I shall report back as soon as I have made my verdict

The last item in the box were the colouring pencils to colour in the customisable box. I will be uploading a picture to my Instagram if I decide to colour in a design, so keep a look out for that.

What do you think of this box? Let me know in the comments!
Thank you for reading

  1. This seems like a great box with a good variety of products in it. Would be interested to see how that salt spray works out - I use the John Frieda one and love it! :) x
