Product Empties

Hello Beauties

product empties bobbibrown nars mac imperialleather soapandglory
I've come to the end of some products and thought I'd share those with you and what I thought of them overall.

1) Nars Sheer Glow (£31.00)

My holy grail foundation. I have never found one that matches my colour and is suited to my skin type like this one. It gives me a medium-full coverage and I also find that I can build the coverage with this foundation quite well. It is a lovely foundation and one I hope to always have in my collection.

Repurchase: Yes, yes, yes (100%)

2) MAC Pro-Longwear Concealer (£17.00) (Not Pictured)

I love this concealer! It is the only concealer that doesn't crease underneath my eyes and actually lasts all day on me. This is something really important for me because I get quite dark underneath my eyes and this gives me a brighter look for as long as it's on. My only negative with this concealer is the pump that it comes with; it is so hard to get the right amount out and I always have too much product in the end, however, I like to place this on the high points of my face to highlight. If you are looking for a long lasting concealer, then I would definitely look into this one.

Repurchase: Yes. (Already have)

3) Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (£32.00)

This is a thick, hydrating eye cream from Bobbi Brown. If I'm being totally honest, I'm not really sure how I felt about this product. It was very thick and felt nice when applied, but I'm not sure how much it helped my under eyes. It wasn't a bad under eye cream, at all, but I wasn't blown away by it.

Repurchase: Maybe someday, not for now

4) Imperial Leather Signature Blissful Escape Body Wash. (£2.00)

This shower gel has to be one of the best shower gels I have ever used. It makes my skin so, incredibly, soft in the shower and has a really lovely scent as well. The best thing about this shower gel is that it is almost always on offer at Boots for £1 and full price is £2. It is worth spending money on; I have never used a shower gel where I can feel it making my skin this soft before.

Repurchase: Yes.

5) Soap & Glory Orangasm Shower Gel (£6.50)

OK. This shower gel. I bought this purely because Estee said she loved it. I smelt it in store and thought it would be a really good shower gel to use in the morning, to wake me up. It smells very strongly of oranges and citrus so it definitely woke me up in the mornings and is a nice shower gel. However, I would not go near any intimate areas with this shower gel; let's just say it stings and yes I am speaking from experience. I had this shower gel for quite some time before it finished, because the bottle is so big and as time went on, the scent started to get even stronger so near the end of the product, I actually found my eyes stinging as I'd use this. I loved it in the beginning but not so much towards the end. For the price, I think there are better shower gels/body washes.

Repurchase: No.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts?

Thank you for reading

  1. I still haven't tried Nars, they don't sell it in Australia :(

    1. Oh, I've seen a few youtubers from Australia using Nars products so I thought they did, have you tried looking online?

  2. I really need to try Nars as I've seen so much hype about all of their products. Imperial Leather is a product I'm forever rebuying and stocking up on, I just love the scents and the feel of my skin afterwards! Rebecca | Rebecca Marie: UK Lifestyle Blog xxx

    1. Nars are one of my favourite high-end brands. Their products are worth every penny, definitely check them out!

  3. I agree - Orangasm isn't even S&G's best shower gel! Sheer Glow is fab though :) xx
