Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate

Hello Beauties
I'm going to talk a little bit about a skincare product that I have really been enjoying using recently; Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
This is a facial oil that is applied to the skin at night and left to work while you sleep. It is made up of Squalane, Evening Primrose Oil, Omega-6 Fatty Acids and Essential Oils and is meant to replenish the skin and make it look younger. Now, I have no need to make my skin look younger as I look pretty young as it is, but this oil definitely replenishes my skin. It leaves me with brighter looking skin in the morning and has been helping add some, much needed, hydration aswell.

This oil has been tested and loved by many before, but I was unsure about whether it would be able to do anything for my skin and now I am so glad I have given it a go. I take 4 drops of this and pat it into my face every night, after cleansing and just let it sink into my skin overnight. In the morning, I have brighter, rejuvinated skin and that is what I have been loving. I have been using this for a few weeks to get a proper test out of it and can not see myself using another facial oil again. I have used the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, in the past, which was ok, but it didn't leave my skin looking as good as the Kiehl's oil.

At £36, the Midnight Recovery concetrate is on the expensive side, but I think it is totally worth it. It has helped my skin look so much better in a matter of a few weeks. I have normal-dry skin usually, but recently it has been on the drier side so I have been needing the extra hydration. However, I have seen a lot of reviews on this product from people with different skin types, from oily to normal to dry, so I would definitely recommend going to a Kiehl's store and taking a look at it. They usually have samples of most products and are happy to let you try those before committing to buying a full sized product, which is so great when you're about to part with so much money.

Have you tried this product or any other facial oil? Let me know in the comments

Thank you for reading

  2. Thanks for this review Nikita! I have combination skin too. I've used the MAC Careblends facial oil in the past and recently tried a L'Oreal one but I absolutely hated the smell and it broke me out so now I add it to my body moisturisers instead to give them a bit more oomph. I'm definitely interested in getting a sample of this to try at the very least!

  6. ah, yeah I found that they're actually really good at recommending products that would be beneficial to your skin type, rather than just trying to sell certain products so check them out x
