Favourite Makeup Brushes/Tools

Hi Beauties!

I'm so sorry it's been so long! If you follow me on Twitter, you will know that I have been quite busy recently but I am back now and will be updating my blog more frequently to make up for the absence.

Today, I'd like to share with you some of my favourite makeup brushes/tools that I have been using for a while now and could not live without. I would highly recommend all of these brushes

1) Real Techniques Buffing Brush. This brush is amazing for really buffing in foundation and giving a non-streaky, flawless look. I use this brush on a daily basis when I want a lighter coverage. However, this brush is great when you want to build up the coverage of your base aswell. Unfortunately you can only buy this brush as part of a set, but the set is great if you're new to makeup.

2) Real Techniques Blush Brush. I can not stop using this brush! It is perfect for use with cheek products and I think it's mainly because of the tapered point. It is perfect for days when you don't want a heavy contour, but just want to add definition and blush also applies beautifully, blending seamlessly (no clown cheeks with this one). I find that it's good at not applying too much product, unless you build it up, so if you're heavy handed with blush this brush is perfect for you!

3) MAC 217 Blending Brush - This is my all time favourite eye brush. It's the ultimate multi-tasker (is that a word?) for eyeshadow and is, therefore, great for portability. You can apply shadow all over the lid, blend it out and apply shadow in the crease all with this one brush! I would recommend this brush to everyone, especially if you're looking for a good quality eye brush, as it can be used for so many different things.

4) MAC 224 Tapered Blending Brush - The fluffiest eyeshadow brush I own. For heavier make up looks, I do like using different brushes for different purposes. I love using this brush for blending out shadow because it's so fluffy. The brush does all the work for you and it makes blending out eyeshadow super fast and easy (who doesn't want that!)

5) Eco Tools Bamboo Powder Brush. This brush I love because it is SO soft! I will say, that this means, I am forever swirling it around on my face, meaning getting ready takes slightly longer, but the brush is wonderful and big and soft and a dream!

6) Beauty Blender - This is the reason why the post has '/tools' in the title. This is my favourite of them all. If you don't own a beauty blender, you need one immediately! I have tried some of the dupes ( I'll compare them in another post), but none compare to the original. It's fantastic for foundation and concealer. I run it under water, until it's expanded in size, squeeze out the excess water and then wait around 10 minutes before using. The finish is amazing and it's something that you'll probably only believe once you've tried it for yourself. I have also been reaching for this with loose powder to set under my eyes.

Have you tried any of these brushes? What are some of your favourites?
