Eyes Uncovered

Hello Beauties

I'm here today with the, fairly, new Collection Eyes Uncovered palettes.

(L-R: Nude Grey, Nude Bronze, Nude)

There are 3 palettes in this collection and they are all fabulous! They are all different variants of nude shades, so they are perfect for everyone, day or night. If you are new to makeup or have been wanting an eyeshadow palette and have not wanted to spend a lot of money, then I would highly recommend these palettes. They all feature shimmery shades and a few mattes and are so lovely to wear.

For the price and the fact that they are available at the drugstore, they are amazing. These eyeshadows are pigmented and creamy, so they are easy to apply and blend without too much work. Let's have a closer look at the palettes.

1) Nude Grey Palette

This palette is the one with the most suitable night-time shades I feel. It has the perfect colours for a smokey eye, as they fall into the darker shade range. The first colour is a very pale white/beige colour (didn't show up too well on me), but that is great for a highlight shade(under the brow) if you're going for all shimmer shades on the lid.
2) Nude Bronze

I think this has to be my favourite palette, of all three. The colours in here are all beautiful and I'm a sucker for golden/bronzey shades in general. This is the palette that I reach for the most, because there isn't a shade in there that I don't love. If you don't like shimmery, bronze/golden shades, then you will most likely hate this palette, but, if like me, you do, then you will love it. I feel like I will get most use out of this palette in the Summer/on a holiday somewhere sunny.
3) Nude

This palette is the most basic, in terms of nude. It's got easy to wear colours and the dark brown (last shade) is matte, so can also double up as an eyeliner, if you're going for a softer look. This one is great for those who like a lighter look, everyday, or even for a no makeup look. It's perfect for the office and an understated, but still put together, look.

All in all, I love these palettes and what makes them great is that they are only £3.99! You can find them here: Nude Grey, Nude Bronze and Nude. They are on offer in Boots at the moment for £2.99, which means that you can buy all 3 for under £10 and that's fantastic for the colour payoff and general wonderfulness of these shadows. I would highly recommend these palettes to everyone. They are great if you want to experiment with eye looks but are not ready for intense colour. They are also a great staple to have (we always need nude shadows). Now, I can't comment on whether they are crease proof, as I have very oily eye lids and always need an eye shadow primer, but if you don't get oily lids, you might be able to wear these alone, or with a combination of concealer and powder on the lid beforehand. If you're thinking of purchasing, I'd do so now, while they're on offer and still around =)

What are your thoughts on these palettes? What are some of your favourite palettes?

Thank you for reading
