Valentine's Glam

Hello Beauties :)

This is a tad late, but here's the look I wore for Valentine's day on Saturday.

I decided to go for a heavy liner look and keep the rest of the face quite soft in comparison.

Cheeks - Natural Collection Eyeshadow (Walnut), MAC Powder Blush (Pinch Me), Soap & Glory Blush Brick (Peach Party)
Lips: Sleek Lip Liner (Lingerie), Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream (Birthday Suit)

This is my go-to base when I want a flawless face. I like to apply one layer of foundation with my beauty blender, work on the eyes and then apply a second layer of foundation for an extra glamourous look without looking too cakey.

I used the L'oreal eyeshadows that I blogged about here. I used the shimmery shade (Golden Nude 204) wet all over the lid, with a mixture of Naked and Buck in the crease. I then went for a winged liner and black liner in the waterline (this SEVENTEEN eyeliner is AMAZING for the price and will not go ANYWHERE once it's set). For the eyebrows I used a brown eyeshadow in a random palette. I have fairly long lashes naturally and have never felt the need for lashes, so I went for the Bourjois mascara as it gives me the biggest lashes EVER!

I love using the Natural Collection eyeshadow as a contour colour and don't need much product to work with. The blush colour is great for people with a slightly darker skin tone and doesn't look too heavy on the skin. I have been loving this lip combination recently as it gives the perfect, slightly darker, nude for skin tones similar to mine. The cheek and lip combo are perfect when you're looking to go heavier on the eyes.

Thank you for reading
